This page explains the cookies and similar browser technologies used by the PINROM website and application support portal.
1. Current use of cookies
Most public pages on this website do not set a PINROM cookie. The application support portal at /support uses one essential session cookie when the form is opened.
2. Essential support session cookie
- Name: PINROM_SUPPORT_SESSION
- Provider: PINROM S.R.L.
- Purpose: CSRF protection, short-lived form state, secure submission processing, and displaying the submission result.
- Scope: /support
- Duration: current browser session
- Security: Secure, HTTP-only, and SameSite=Lax.
This cookie is required to provide the support form securely. It is not used for analytics, advertising, profiling, or cross-site tracking.
3. Cookie-notice preference
When you dismiss the informational cookie notice, the website stores
the value dismissed under
pinrom_cookie_notice_v1 in browser session storage.
This value contains no account identifier, email address, IP address, or behavioural profile. It exists only to prevent the notice from appearing again during the same browser-tab session and is not sent to PINROM's server.
4. Cloudflare security
PINROM uses Cloudflare for DNS, routing, delivery, availability, and website security. Cloudflare may use essential security technologies when necessary to detect malicious traffic, operate a security challenge, or protect the website.
These security technologies are not selected by PINROM for advertising or behavioural analytics.
5. Why there is no consent panel
The website currently uses only technologies required for security, operation, or a feature explicitly requested by the visitor. The notice therefore provides information and does not present artificial “accept all” or “reject all” choices for categories that do not exist.
6. Future optional technologies
PINROM will update this policy and introduce prior consent controls before enabling optional analytics, advertising, marketing, profiling, or other non-essential browser storage.
Any future consent interface will keep optional categories disabled until a valid choice is made and will provide similarly accessible options to accept, reject, and later change that choice.
7. Browser controls
Browsers generally allow you to inspect, block, or remove cookies and site storage. Blocking the essential support-session cookie may prevent the support form from working securely.
8. Privacy information
Additional details about website logs, support submissions, retention, service providers, and your rights are available in the PINROM Privacy Policy.
